The Stillwater Ledger started as a one-page photocopy left on the counter at the hardware store. It is still mostly that, only typed up now: meeting minutes, market days, who is plowing which road, and the occasional note about the weather or the water.
We are not a newspaper and we do not sell anything. If a date is wrong or a name is misspelled — and it will be — please tell us and we will fix it. Notices for the following week should reach us by Wednesday evening to make it in.

Leave a note in the box by the library door, or send it along with anyone headed that way. We read everything, eventually.
